Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

So.. I'm using the UNA Toolbox to analyze the closeness to get colored points in rhino. Since illustrator doesn't read points when I export, I'm trying to create circles around the points.

My question is, how do I assign rhino object colors to the circles I create? I was able to use Human+Treefrog to get the colors as a list, but how do I assign them to the circles?

I do know some basic python (but not too sure how to put it in grasshopper..), so even some hints would be extremely helpful.

Thank you so much!

Grasshopper geometry does not carry attributes like Rhino geometry does. As such, there's no way to associate a name, or colour, or layer, or linetype, or ... with Grasshopper geometry. There are plugins that allow you to bake stuff to specific layers and probably with specific colours. Have a look at LunchBox and FabTools. I've never used them myself but I think they both provide more advanced baking.

Thank you so much!! FabTools worked easily!

Sorry for the late reply I've been swamped with homework.. I really appreciate it!

What about weave Geometry and properties in a data tree

and call the branch as a whole every time you ant to get an attribute of a circle
