Stepping down across multiple curves

I'm not sure how else to describe the problem, but I have attempted a few different approaches and I feel like I'm still missing a key component. Stepping curves2 illustrates the desired product in white with the gh definition screenshot and attached file. Beyond that, the ultimate goal is to evaluate a point on each line controlled by a number slider.

Any insight into components or revised definitions I would really appreciate!
