algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all!

How would you constrain the side of scaling in one direction? I am using Scale NU and adding a number in its Z input. It scales it in both directions of Z axis, and if you enter negative numbers it turns the geometry upside down.

Is there any suggestion of how to constrain one of the sides when scaling?

Thanks!

Hi Tom,

It does't work. It scales the geometry both sides anyway.

Thanks for your help!

I think in this case you only need to move the centre of the scaling to the bottom of the geometry

Hi Mohamed,

Yep, it works, it is only matter to move the geometry downwards after that, as the geometry moves up when scaling.

Thanks!
