Cross Reference?

Hey Everyone!

I've been following this grasshopper tutorial and it has asked me to select the "Cross Reference" option.

"We select the Cross reference option in the Domain 2D component. The result is that the whole surface is filled with the sub surfaces."

"Select Domain 2D » Right click » Cross reference"

I can't seem to be able to find/select it.

Any help in solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Drowsy,

this is from old grasshopper version where you could access data matching like cross reference through right click. In the current version you can find it as a component in Sets/list tab.

Moreover it is telling me to connect a Curve-Spline-Polyline to the Sub list out put so that it will generate the correct lines for 1 direction of the top grid.

However grasshopper tells me that "Data conversion failed from Line to Point" Am i doing something wrong?

yup, exactly what the warning says. you are providing lines to the polyline component input , while it expects points. you can pause-mouse over each input and see in the popup window what data type is needed for each component.
