Hi Ethan,

Thanks for your reply, I am having trouble setting the plane and then cutting the object do you have an example file? It seems that this doesnt work the same way a clipping plane in Rhino does.

Hi Anton, I know of two options:  

• Volvox's ClippingPlane component, by Mateusz Zwierzycki and Hendrik Leander Evers (Volvox > Util > ClippingPlane). (pro: easy, con: clips all vp's)
• There's also a script out there by Luis Fraguada, but that requires you to draw a clippingplane and get its ID. (pro: clips only the views you want clipped, con: little harder)

Well, looks like I did a thorough job of misinterpreting this question...
