algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I didn't know until now that the image sampler depends on the angle of surface that is divided for the pattern making. In the Grasshopper example below, the result from the same image sampler varies depending on the angle of the surface divided.
I'm trying to use the image sampler drive the building facade patterns, so I'm wondering if there is a simple way to make the image sampler work on surfaces perpendicular to x-y planes.
Hope I can get some help soon!
Thank you.

Thank you for the answer! Do you mean that I have to orient surfaces to world coordinates to create patterns with the image sampler and then bring patterned surfaces back to the original location?
For the time being, I'm just relocating the surface for the image sampling and getting patterned surfaces back to the original location. It would be great to see an example of what you're describing it for me to enhance my GH definition, if you have some time later. Thank you Laurent!
