Change path connections of lines

Hello again,

I have a hopefully rather basic question: Based on contours of a volume geometry I want to connect the division points with the ones of the offseted contours. You can see the current status below, I drew within what I am trying to get.

The lower picture shows the relevant definition and another perspective upon the geometry and lines, now without the division points of the curves.

Is it possible to leave out the small parts and only focus on the long ones? I want to keep the individual lines, just between other dots (as shown above). Kinda like this (photoshoped):
