i have solid difference problem

dear, grasshopper families.

I using 'solid difference'. I want to subtract the rectangle box from the pattern pannel on that picture.

However after I use the component, grasshopper still show the rectangle box together after i use 'sdiff component'.

please let me know why the rectangle box still remains after using 'solid difference'

I SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH TRIM SOLID INSTEAD OF SDIFF. However, still I wonder what I did wrong with sdiff....
