Union Box in BoundingBox with python

Is there a way to create a single Bounding box for multiple geometries in python, like the one that you get when Union Box is active in the BoundingBox component? I'm using the ghpythonlib.components to get the component funcionality in my script, but I cannot acces the Union Box mode. any ideas?
