algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I'm fairly new to grasshopper (a couple weeks in) and I need some help figuring out how to connect a duplicated, scaled and offset surface to the base so that Grasshopper can bake out those surfaces.
I ended up cheating a bit to produce the surface geometry in Rhino by baking out the curves then one by one creating each surface by selecting the edges curve.
This becomes an issue though when I change some of the parametric variations and want to bake out different variations from one 'parametric definition.'
I've tried to work my way through it logically - and I assume that the solution includes the use of lists to tell GH which points are associate with one another - but couldn't figure it out.
I've attached the files below. Thanks!

I don't think you actually need to go about it this way. Instead, take the edges of the base surface and offset surface using the "Deconstruct Brep" component, joining them, pairing the closed curves with the weave component and then lofting those curves. You can then put the base and offset surfaces back into the set of surfaces using another weave component, join them together and then use the deconstruct brep component yet again if you really want the wireframe.
So, I think what you really needed to use was the loft component rather than somehow trying to construct the surfaces by joining the curves.
