algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I'm not sure but it seems that i used a wrong strategy to create an Islamic Pattern. I wonder if there is a way to do it more simple or at least without too much points and "point on Curve" components?
with this method i cannot use point attractions too.
I guess i could use lists and trees more than that instead of separating each line and point, but i didn't know how!
there are some problems with extruding the pattern and i cannot control it neither.

So I think the key to solving your problem is to either graft the cells right at the beginning again, so each square is in its own branch, or simply design a single square and then duplicate at the end.
For simplifying the operations you do, you can also use a few trick, as you will see, like using the many-to-many intersections instead of single ones.
Have a look at my rework of it. I started doing it with the 5x5 grid and it works, except for the last part. So I redesigned it using just a single square.
Wow! Thank you so much!
I don't know why my mind always pick up the worst ways in grasshopper :))
You did it with a different looking at the pattern. i cannot simplify things like this.
Dont worry about that. That's one thing I like about Grasshopper.. there is never just one correct/wrong way, but many strategies. About simplifying things, that will just come after using it a lot. Trust me my patches, and probably everyone elses, used to look like that when I was still fairly new to Grasshopper. I am in the lucky position to be able to use and experiment with Grasshopper almost every day for the last 2 years :)
Thank you again for the experiences you shared. I really enjoy working with grasshopper but sometimes i think my brain is going to explode :)). But i'm sure it's all about working and working again. No Pain, No Gain!
Absolutely. Also my Grasshopper skills made major improvements when I went to some intermediate workshops. You learn so much in those! So if you can, try to do one of those, you can find some here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/events.
Also I found some of the sessions on here really good: http://grasshopper.rese-arch.org/group/grasshopper
Lastly you can find a lot of tutorial videos on youtube, like these: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdsZ7cjB6urAQxRhySmiURQ/videos
Thank you so much for your time armin ;)
Thank you Joseph for sharing it. actually it was really handy for me. I'm sure i have some serious problems and lack of knowledge in trees structure...
