algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a rectangular grid of points which i have turned into circles and a curve running through the grid, id like to select the points that are near the curve and be able to control the fallout (how far out i can select the points based on the curvature) I dont want to move the points just be able to select the ones that fall into the fallout range i.e. the ones with the black dots, and not the entire grid of points.  i hope i've made myself clear. Thank you

hi boris

calculate the distance for every point to your attractor curve (closest point to curve) . after that calculation you have a value which you can evaluate against your distance threshold..... (true false logic for culling the points)
im sorry i dont follow, or i cant get it to work, i dont know the next step after Crv CP, the 3 options for cull ask for indicies, frequency or pattern, i cant seem to connect the dots, its incredibly frustrating
hahah nvm i just got it lol im a moron thx again

can you tell me how you did it?
