Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi There,

How can I fill the gaps between my bricks on an irregular shaped wall? I have had a go using all manner of subtraction and division but cannot figure it out (most probably because its late here as I type!). I probably don't need to stress that i'm still getting to grips with grasshopper!

I'm hoping its a simple one!

Many thanks

Marc

Hi.

1. Brick interval = Brick width(Length) x Gap? --->  Brick width(Length)+Gap
2. If you'd like to leave gaps, you should change input order of "Solid Difference"

Thanks for your help!

Reading back my original post i dont think i asked the question in the right way! I was hoping to create bricks in the gaps (those gaps bigger than say 20mm)?

I figured you could do this by creating a separate set of bricks using the same cull pattern but reversing the true/false values. Creating new boxes on these points with the same z & y values as the bricks but use a formula to generate a x value for each row of these bricks?

Thanks again for the help, always massively appreciated!
