algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Control Servo with Firefly

hi guys,

i have just started with firefly and my arduino-board.
i have a problem with the servo. 
first of all my setup:

-Arduino Uno REV 3 
(Arduino 1.6.7)
-Tower Pro Micro Servo SG90

Rhino 5 SR12
Grasshopper 0.9.0075
Firefly 1.0.0.70


Uno Write Out: same number as the Number Slider to DPin5 - (i have tried all pwm pins on my arduino board)
Uno Write Msg: Now writing values to the arduino board.

When i`m moving the slider only the RX light on my arduino board is blinking and the servo does not move.


I am Sure the Servo is working i have tried it to with the Program in Arduino
Examples / Servo / Sweep
Its working.

I`m not sure what i`m doing wrong.

Hi,

Your Dpin 5 needs to be set so Servo Mode.

Right click on the Dpin5 and set it to Servo instead of Digital.

that should do it.

hi omer,

thank u for ur reply, but i had another big mistake in my setup.

i used an old firmata, this was my major problem.

may be you need right click on Pin 05 and choose Servo not Digital and if it doesn't work please try to use external Power or Battery
