algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
I am working on an energy model, but I am getting the following error:
1. Solution exception: Atrium has been moved, scaled or rotated. If you need to move or rotate a Honeybee object you should use Honeybee move, rotate or mirror components. You can find them under 12|WIP tab.
I saw that others had the same problem and that it was a bug that was supposed to be fixed, but I am using the latest version of HoneyBee and LadyBug.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Blanca

Hi Blanca,
Are you sure? Try reinserting the component in question.

Hard to say.
The geometry is not internalized so can't check.

Sorry, I thought I had internalized the geometry!
This one should work now.
Thanks!
Blanca,
There are so many errors BEFORE you get to the simulation that i can't deal with them.
Not difficult, but you have to deal with them.
Remember that ALWAYS the output of the HB_createHBZones MUST be "ClosedBrep" (meaning a closed, sealed geometry). In your case the top one is giving OpenBrep and the bottom one is giving UntrimmedZone. In the bottom it is probably causd becouse you are using the same geometry for the base surface abd for the child surface. Can't be!! The child surface MUST be at least, slightly smaller than the base surface (that's why it is a child).
For each zone you should think as a box. For example, the top one should be about 6 zones because of the internal floors.
In short, you have some modeling work to do in order to fix your file.
If your geometry if fixed i would thing about a different modeling strategy. Probably with masses, masses2zones, etc.
Not very helpful but ...
