Affect grid spacing. Can I use an image sample? or do I have to use a different method?

Hi there,

Is it possible to affect the horizontal spacing of a grid? If so, how?

It is for brick wall I've been working on, I have attached an image of how I have created this grid in GH and the GH file.

I have already kindly had help with my image sampler which affects how much the bricks are rotated that create openings. Now my aim is to increase the spacing as shown on the spacing.jpg. I initially though an inverse image used for the window openings could work but i'm just not sure if this is even possible by simply using the image sampler?

Maybe another method would work? If anyone has ideas i would be extremely grateful

Thanks

Marc

Hi. Marc.

You can manipulate color brightness value of image sampler by using "Minimum" ,"maximum" , or "Graphmapper".

Take a look at the attached revised definition .

Thanks you for your help once again!!

I'm not sure if i'm missing the component but will this change the spacing of the flat bricks so that gaps will open up between those that havent been rotated? effectively the solid brickwork lets light into the building?
