algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is there a way to just get the current date or time?    Somewhat like the Calendar or Clock components, but dynamic so that they always return the current information.  The current Calendar and Clock components only return static values.

Hi Norm,
if you double click the Clock component it refreshes to the current time.
You could also do a search and find relevant discussions (even with practically the same title)

Thanks Pieter... do you know of anyway to make the date and time actually be dynamic?  That is, I want them to always be current, like a "Today" or "Now" function.

If you mean the components from Params>Input tab, I'm sorry - no I don't.

Does this code that David posted a screen capture in the discussion Pieter posted a link to not work dynamically enough?

Or are you wanting some thing that changes the time only when an event/calcuation in the code happens?

That worked Matt... Awesome!  Thanks for digging that up.  I searched the discussion for this but for some reason just could not find it.
