Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am new to Grasshopper. I have a complex shape I created in Rhino and would like to make an exoskeleton to print based on the shape. I am not certain how to approach this problem. Can anyone tell me the steps I need to take to do that? Can I replicate the curves in Grasshopper based on the Rhino curves then apply either the delaunay trangulation or exoskeleton or...? I need the final output to be 3d printed.

Thanks for your help.

You can reference your curves in Rhino in GrassHopper and then try the Cocoon plugin to give thickness to your curves.

Its a little unclear to me what you want to do from your picture.

If my interpretation is correct, you might import into Autodesk 123D Make and printout the layers.

Kim, what I want is to create a silhouette of the shape with thickened wire frames. Something like the image.

Thanks.
