Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have been trying to generate a steel girder concrete bridge superstructure and have a couple of issues with it screenshots attached along with the def.

There is a plan on the definition as a scribble.

I just cannot seem to get the orientation to work or the hang of orient for that matter....

It also appears that the deck slab gradient is in the opposite direction, which is the easy bit.

Please have a look, it is part of another staged definition, all help greatly appreciated.

regards

Hi.

Is this what you are after?

Hi, Kim, that was ideal.

The merge for the hauches is simple and makes a lot of sense.

Group the surfaces to orientate only once.

I am puzzzled over what the flip does? and how the partition works, I get the lofting between the curves that make the cross section and the idea of the partition splitting the brep to slab, haunches and girders.

I flipped my slab geometry, just in case you are wondering.

I nearly get it.

Good though I appreciate your help.
