algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Dear All,
I am a novice in Grasshopper and am using it in my course to carry out an analysis of views. Using 'sphere', 'subdivision' and connection lines to represent 3-dimensional views, I have managed to get a script to work to show the obstructed views, using 'Brep Curve' and 'connection lines'.
Unfortunately, I can not seem to find a way to show me the opposite, the unobstructed views. I think it is a case of removing the lines/points that overlap the 'Brep curve' or obstructed lines... and I have tried multiple attempts using 'cull' and 'dispatch' amongst other commands but unfortunately to no successful.
Can anyone please help? Attached is the grasshopper script and 2 screen shots for your assistance.

You didn't internalize your Brep params so the code won't work without your Rhino file.
By the way, it appears you are using the same Brep params for three different "paths"? Why have three copies? There appears to be a lot of unnecessary code duplication in each path.
Hi Joseph, Thanks for your response. I have now uploaded an updated Grasshopper workflow with the internalized data for your information.
With regards to the three copies, and being relatively new to the software, I couldn't think of a way to embed the 3 paths into one workflow whilst keeping each path independent.
However, I could potential remove the '2D analysis path' from each workflow, because what I am actually concentrating on with this file is the 3D path analysis: The '2D workflow' is currently in place because I used that as the basis for the 3dimensional grasshopper script.
updated grasshopper file attached (with internalized Brep params)
