Looks like your energy simulation has failed. Check the report from runEnergyPlus component to find the reason.

No runEnergyPlus component doesn't have any error.

As I connect these 2 components the shape of EP Result component changes. (even before starting to run)

Tim, It's very hard to help you more w/o sharing an example file. I'm not sure what is going on with your file.

Tim,

It appears that you are not requesting any zone-level outputs from EnergyPlus.  Set one of the inputs on the "Generate EP Output" component to True.
