algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, i'm trying to tile a surface with equilateral triangles.

I managed to do this only by squares with the PanelingTools Plugin but no triangles here (at least for what i can see)

The main problem is: i can tile my surface with triangles, but those are not equilateral since the curves generated on my surface are not equidistant each other (i used lunchobx to do this)

I would like to have something like this, but with triangles

I think you are unlikely to get equilateral triangles. They could be close to equilateral but if you take a planar surface made up of equilateral triangles and try bending it, it will kink rather than follow a smooth form if the surface has curvature in both directions.

There have been some discussions about this on this forum already...

Perhaps kangaroo can help equalise the triangle edges as much as is possible for the given surface.
