Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi,
it’s the first time I post here, (I almost always end finding the solution looking at other posts)
I never really manage to work out with lists and data trees and now with hoopsnake I can’t find a way around it
I’m basically trying to do a really simple branching always on twos, consisting of
_number of vertical repetitions (rep 0, rep 1…)
_number of iterations for each repetition (iteration degree 0, deg 1…)
i already managed to get the points i will need, but how to connect them is proving to be very difficult,
I want to connect with lines the points I get from the hoopsnake command with lines
here you can see in white the baked points of what hoopsnake is giving me,
i manually did the red connections, i want to achieve that directly in gh for all of the white points...
here is a screenshot of my gh
I think it's a really simple list management thing I don't yet know how to do,
here is what two data items the lines should connect
hope someone can help
cheers!

In case your exersize wasn't really about using Hoopsnake, here's what I couldn't get past (see attachment). Though it's not something I know much about, I think this calls for an L-System approach (do a search for that if my answer isn't satisfactory).

thanks a lot!

I looked into L-system, they are super related to what I'm trying to do, but too complicated for what I know until know.

Your definition on the other hand was super helpful! Much better than using hoopsnake.. hope I can manage to use it into developing the more complex solutions I've been doing manually.

Thanks again!!
