Grasshopper for Robot Milling | AAG2010 workshop material

Hey everyone,

Just a quick heads-up for those of you who are interested in fabrication (and/or robots - doesn't everyone like robots?) :

Sigrid Brell-Cokcan and myself have just launched our robotsinarchitecture.com homepage/blog and posted the course material of the workshop we held at the Advances in Architectural Geometry 2010 conference. It deals with how to use Grasshopper for robot milling, with a focus on flank milling, which we think is especially interesting. Furthermore it shows how to create G-Code within Grasshopper, circumventing the usual CAM software. The course material includes a PDF with instructions, the Grasshopper definition (tested with 07.0055) and a 3DM file.

Head to robotsinarchitecture.com - it's the second post from the top!

The goal of our homepage is to find more people working with robots in architecture and to participate in building this growing community - contact us via robot [at] robotsinarchitecture.com if you have any questions, suggestions, comments etc.

We hope you enjoy the workshop material!
