algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear All,
I aspire to use cantenary principles for my master thesis. But the problem is that I have to find a way of how I can control the height of the arches. Even when arches build upon other arches. With just one "floorlevel" it is easy but it becomes tricky when I have a whole network of curves.

I work now with the kangaroo spring tools. Derived from the "Newton is the man" Defintion which I got from the Kangaroo forum.

Does anyone have an idea how I could approch it.
Here a picture of just one layer.

you can made a catenary by three points: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/catenary-through-three-po...
The problem is that maybe the "middle point" its not when the catenary reach the max height, but if your starting points are in the same level and the same distance to the middle point, i think it will work.

Another solution is with galapagos... david rutten made something like that, but the points are a little more free: http://www.aaschool.ac.uk//VIDEO/lecture.php?ID=1212
The definition its post in this forum, but i dont remember where...

good luck...
ah ja! thanks a lot! this might work- ill post it as sone I've fixed a proper definition!
