algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Slice a Brep into sections to prepare for CNC milling.

Hi, I'm trying to slice an elliptical solid into sections, so I can prepare them to cut out of MDF board (12mm thickness).

The main part that's bothering me, is the Brep|Plane that creates more sections than the number of perpendicular frames. I've read that this seems to be 'by design' so I was wondering if someone would have another approach to tackle this problem, please?

Kindest regards...

Looks nice!

What material is it made of?

Simple plywood (bendable), lots of polyester filler, even more manual sanding and a nice glossy finish. This is the prototype. I'm now in the process of making a rubber mold so I can reproduce it in concrete. (to be continued...)

Awesome Process!

Thanks! The making of the mold failed over and over again. I had to hand it over to a pro. Almost ready to reproduce...
