algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi, im really confused,
someone could help me.
In the formula there is the question.
Than you soso much!!

Yikes! this is a colossal amount of spaghetti ... so let's isolate some stuff:
Is this what are you trying to achieve? If yes, I'll "translate" the code (C#) with components.
2nd attempt (zero result): This no attachment possible behavior is a bit annoying
3nd attempt (OK): what a life
What question? Where? (Tip: use named views if a lot of spaghetti is around, for instance: Question N666: why my CPU is fried? etc etc). Why? When?
BTW: If you mean this:
... It's addressed via that little C# that I've posted above.
Tip: halt your horses for a while and study these mysterious DataTrees.
OK, I'll add a line or two on that C#. Extrude? You mean Loft using THE PAIRS of lines? (they are all in the same plane, so what to extrude?).
Other than that:
DataTrees is the GH way to put collections of Lists under control ... meaning that ALL things (all collections of things, that is) point to DataTree structures and the available ways to manage/manipulate/control their content. DataTrees ARE NOT C# stuff (David Rutten did that for GH) whilst Lists are.
Most novices do the classic mistake to try to write down some definition without FULLY mastering the DataTree related things.
It's like trying windsurfing without knowing the beachstart/waterstart thingies = waste of time and effort.
there are many people that learned just by writing definitions without fully mastering data trees, but process made it possible to master them. so i would not call it a waste of time and effort.
waste of time ... etc was primarily for the windsurfing thingy, he he
What little draw? In any case ... is this what you want?
hi peter,
could you help me in some questions? if you could i will write them.
Thanks, marina.
Use my e-mail (send via a message) or Skype (ditto) for in depth (if required) explanations.
best, Peter
Ok So this the same as what Peter has done in his version 1 and I think you wanted as just GH components to show the other side of the coin.
Hope its some help
P.S I am not against coding, I have been learnt Python and started on C# a little, for tool writing especially camera's and clipping plane control in Rhino and GH but think its always good to try and post pure GH too so people can learn both depending on what they need to do.
