inflation with exoskeleton by using an attractor

Hi to everyone,

I have tried to define the exoskeleton radious with an attractor and colour it according to this attractor. However, my attractor does not work properly. When I move the attractor on XY plane, it gives different inflation depends on it is on right side and left side (However, it should be mirror image). Also the inflation does not happen gradually.

I guess there is problem with hexagrid but I cannot find a solution. Any kind of answer will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hello. Does this help?

yes, it is very helpful. thanks a lot :)

Can I ask something? Can we make the inflation gradually for every module? Like minimum at the end and maximum at the middle? In this definition in one modul all the tickness is the same. Like in the jpg.

If you don't mind, I'd like to simplify your definition to achive the objective you mentioned.

thank you very much. it really helps.

I am trying to understand different kind of attractors and I tried to use sun vector. However, it seems it doesn't work, again. I think I cannot calculate the angles between sun vector and surface uv, properly. It is still acting like point attractor on surface. Thanks in advance.
