Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I want to generate a voronoi cell bounded by the cylinder as the pic.

The file "cortical" is the cylinder which bounds the voronoi cells generated by the point cloud file "~~_50.igs ."

Plus, I want to control the rod diameter.

The result may be similar with the bone pic.

How can I construct the algorithm?

And, I have additional two questions.

1. Can I merge two files (_50.igs and cortical) into one single file ?

2. Can I differentiate the input file (here, _50.igs and cortical) and the result file (which appears on the same window as the input file, when the "bake" pressed) ?

anybody...?

Rhino has the menu command Export Selected with most any file format you need. Such simple questions make your overall request kind of confusing. You have an open-ended tube so will also need a capped cylinder to really trim the Voronoi 3D in Grasshopper. If you posted a Grasshopper attempt it would help. Certainly more than enough background ideas have already been posted in your other two bone threads. I'm not sure what I could add to that since they already show how to create and from 3D Voronoi cells with a solid.

Alright I will try it

I'm sorry for bothering you.

Thank you
