Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I am creating a spiral, in order to make curves by connecting the points on the spiral, which I want the curves to intersect with Points A, B, and C as shown in the image attached.

In order to generate different options of the curves, while optimizing the intersections at A, B, C, I am using Galapagos, but it is not intersecting perfectly with those points?

Please advise, thank you

Your explanation is a bit confusing, what are you trying to achieve?

Hi David, thank you for your reply!

I want the spiral lines (created with grasshopper) to intersect with the two outer rings of the ellipse, and the straight black lines (created in rhino).

I have used Galapagos to optimize this, and also to have different options for the spiral lines (more "spirally" or less, but must intersect with the other lines). However---I must have done something wrong because the spiral lines are not perfectly intersecting with the ellipse blue lines, and the black vertical lines.

How do you think this may be fixed? Please let me know!
