First Layer Problem (Trim with Brep)

Hi All,

I'm having troubles with the trim with Brep component. I want a couple of crosslines to be trimmed by a Brep. The lines that aren't at the bottom of the Brep are succesfully trimmed. But the lines that are at the bottom of the Brep are not trimmed. I don't understand how this is possible.

Any thoughts on how to solve this?

Hi,

you hahe a phyton component and i cant open your gh file.

Anyway, how about extruding your brep a bit downwards? Or make a copy of yout brep?

as you can see, it works if brep face and lines arent at same level. Conclusion: move your brep a bit downwards, cut the lines and then move the brep back.

Thanx for your reply. Why doens't it work when Brep face and lines are at the same level? I don't want to move the Brep or change the dimensions of the Brep. I just want the Brep to be cut into layers. These layers consist out of mutiple lines.

this is because CAD programms often have problems with objects on same level. I have the feeling that the face of the brep isnt inside brep.
