algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
Does anyone out there have a better means of 'Wire Management'? One that does not involve having to assign visibility to each wire individually.....I would love to be able to drag select a bunch of components, and edit all wires associated the selection.
For example, I bet this Ship wishes it could Hide ALL TENTACLES!
Cheers,
Nick

I second this! I'd love to be able to select a component (or a bunch of components), and be able to change all of it's input wire styles together. Doing it one at a time is cumbersome when you have a messy definition to clean up.
I don't know. If I was to be attacked by a giant squid I'd rather it wasn't invisible.
I'm working on adding some menu items for this and also redistributing items from the View, Arrange and Solution menu into a new main menu item called Display. View was getting too full and Arrange was too empty.

David,
Granted, invisible Giant Squid probably harder to deal with.
Captain: We are under attack! Hide ALL TENTACLES!
First Mate to Captain: You FOOL! You'll get us all killed...DISCONNECT ALL TENTACLES!!

Hey David,
What is the status on this feature? elsewhere you said you might delay it to 2.0 (http://www.grasshopper3d.com/xn/detail/2985220:Comment:862396)
But I am still hoping you can give us an in between feature that simply loops through the selection and hides or shows all wires (in the edit, view or display menu all seem fine to me)...
It would not be tough to code would it?
thanks,
It would not be tough to code, it's just that development on GH1 features has stopped since quite a while ago. There's a huge list of stuff that still could be done, but that would take away development time from GH2.
