algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Maya, if you upload your file, we can tell you how to shift the list(s) to get the result you are after.
Hi Pieter,
You are right, here is part of the file
Thanks!
Maya
Hmm, not what I expected... At the start of the file there is something going wrong that causes the faulty 'full surface width curve'(some lists are wrapping, which they shouldn't). I need to rethink the approach, I'll try to find some time to do that later (today?). Sorry I don't have a quick fix~
Thanks for your answer Pieter!
I will keep trying to find what is going wrong.
Thanks again
Maya
Hello Maya, Pieter,
I think you can achieve the curve order you want by:
1.setting the top [Shift List] slider to -10,
2.right-clicking on the 2 [Tree Branch] components and deselecting "Maintain Paths" and
3.skipping the [Join Curves] component before [Loft]
see attached file.
Btw, Pieter is right, you could avoid this mess with the branches culling if the starting points were better organized, but since the previous part of the definition is missing, I didn't mingle with that at all...
Hi Nikos
Thankyou very much for your response , it is working correctly.
All the best,
Maya
