algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Thank you peter,
this is working great, but in a different origin than the original Brep, the unrolled brep is found at (0,0), I would like to have it at the same base of the original Brep ..
check the attached image ..
Cheers
Er ... great? (you mean awfully bad, I guess, he he).
Allow me to make some "adjustments" on that code
haha .. no this is exactly what I want but in a different origin ..
Thanks a lot peter
Exactly, all what I need is to unroll the brep (strip by strip) keeping same strip origin ..
Cheers peter
Wait a minute:
Doing this via a quite short C# (without the "layout" calculations) is not nuclear science ... but ... well ... you'll get overlapping arrays (unroll outputs an array) or lists of brepfaces.
I suspect that this is another "very-simple" case ...
more soon
Thanks peter,
Could you send me the link to the seg component ? I couldn't find it in food 4 rhino ..
Cheers
Update: spend 12.45 minutes on that one (just another "simple case" , he he)
Here's what The Dark Side (C# only, not SEG, KGB, BBC, ABC or whatever) has to say for Ibrahim:
Allow me a couple of minutes more (for adding some bugs more in the code: always In The Name of Science, what else?) and I'll post the salvation ASAP.
In the mean time get the SEG.
Q for David R:
I do hope that this is legal (I mean attaching the SEG gha)
