algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Super basic question although for some reason can't seem to figure it out.  I am using the sort point function on the centroids of and an area, and now I want to the area geometry to match same locations in the list.  The sort Points components outputs the new index location for the sorted points.  What the best way to get the area geometry to match those locations.  The sort list component doesn't seem to work.  I was looking for something that would allow me to set the index value of an item in a list can't seem to find it.

Attach the index list to a "List item" component, where the list (L) is your geometry (surfaces).

Duh.  I new it was simple.  For some reason I was thinking it was only used to retrieve an item, which is what it's doing but in the order I want it.  Thanks for the help.
