Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to fit multiple rooms with different areas in a floorplan. Can anyone help me with it? I can’t find any tutorials about designing a floorplan in grasshopper. If you know how please share it.

For example:

I have a surface of 100m2 and I want to put five areas in it.

A living room with +-30 m2, 2 bedrooms with +-12 m2 each and a bathroom and a toilet.

Any help a appreciated and thank you.

Please take an interior design course.

Perhaps you think Grasshopper will finally do away with Architects and Designers?  :(
Your requirements are missing, a food preparation area, an entry, circulation space.
Washer/Dryer, Storage space,..... just a toilet? no sink! ......YIKES!

Have a look at: http://www.amazon.com/Neufert-Architects-Data-Fourth-Edition/dp/140...

No it's an example. It about being able to decide a surface into multiple surfaces with different sized. I kept it simple, because I want to understand how I can divide a surface into specific sizes.

sorry I should have said that is more about the implementation.
