algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi folks,
So as you can see I divided this surface diagonally with a script I found here:
After that, I divided the Lines
then I moved the point in the Z direction base on an image that I created.
now I want to generate surfaces on this way: (and not like above)(I created a dumb script to show that, it doesn't work if I make any changes)
you can find the script enclosed.
Thanks!!

Hi Daniel, thank you for explaining your goal so well.
Here is a simple way to do that. I could simplify that further, but I would need more components (I'm thinking about just using endpoint and startpoint for 'bottom', for instance). But this explains that I merely reverse the list of points that moved up, and then put these points at the end of the original lists.
Maybe you want an interpolated curve for the moved points...
Thanks so much! it was really helpful!
Good! Then I achieved my goal. Here are some alternatives I was talking about.
P.S.: your last screencapture (the scary one) helped too ;)
Have a nice weekend.
