algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
I'm trying to find an "active way" to insert the parameter of color in the workflow of my script. Till now I have created a number of cubes by dividing a surface, moved them according to a graph and then applied to them different colors as a"path" of attractors that change their position in real time (created by nudibranch). Now I am trying to find a way to take advantage of these color changes. Is there a way for example to move differently those boxes according to their color? I mean for example to move in a different level the blue ones, the orange ones etc? And to make it more complicated could they move to these levels separably according to the tone of the color and not only the colors? Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.
Thank you in advance,

Daniel thank you for the quick response. However I have a question as I was testing the script that you posted, if I have understand right the way it works, it produces the different tones of black and white for the boxes because of their heights. How could I connect this operation with the already existing colors that I have? (Don't I need the exactly opposite procedure?)
The colors can be converted into numbers with various ways. Then we remap these values and use them to move.
The trick in the previous picture was the Integer component, which converts the colors to a number.
ok, so if I have understand right in your script you take all the used colors and you transform them in numbers, then you place them in a domain and remap them. Finally move them due to their position in the new domain(their tone). So to select the color that I want to use I have to find the number that represent it in the domain? (Thank you very much again!)
