Move points on Curve in Z base on the distances between points

I am try to write a definition that will move points on multiple of curves next to each other, and based on the distances between the points on the curves and to other points around it, the points within the distance threshold will move in Z direction relative to the distance to other points. So basically the effect is the closer the points then the higher points will move, and then interpolate curve will bend upwards.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi David,

I have made some progress, I was able to select the points that are within the distance threshold calculated against other points. And I have got the item numbers of those points, but my question now is, how do I make changes to those item points and then recombine the list again with the other unaffected points so that the order of points are the same and a new interpolate curve can be drawn again?
