Defining points in opposite directions- problem

Hi everyone! :)

I am a begginer in Grasshopper so any help would be appreciated :)

I wanted to do a tutorial of Bejing Olympic Stadium -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxyvQzgXj9M but of course some mistake appeared.

I mean I am doing everything like in the tutorial on a 3:05 and I am supposed to have 2 points in opposite directions. Instead of that I have only one point.  I am following the tutorial and I really do not understand the problem.

Here is my screenshot. I hope you will solve the problem. Thanks  in advance

Hello Maja,

The tutorial you are doing seems to be quite old so there is a good chance you will find more inconsistencies with the current version of Grasshopper later on.

In this particular case you can just connect a [point] component after the [+] so that GH can understand you want those xyz coordinates translated as a point (and not as a vector - vectors are not displayed by default):

Hey Nikoz,

it worked :) Thanks but two points are stick together now. Is there any slider or some panel that can differentiate the distances between them?

You just have to add the [Point] component to your definition (I did it quickly just to show you where to find it).

The "Factor" slider should move just the second point:

Ok, thanks Nikos. It works.
