algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I would like to divide a elliptical prism with 45 degree lines, it means that the lines start at the bottom front and finish (maybe) at the top bottom of the prism after them go all around the surface.

I tried to divide the top and the bottom curve (that are not the same, one is the offset of the other) and than shift the points from the top to make tilted line, and after pull on the surface, but at some point the line just doesn't follow the direction. And if i use too many curves rhino crashs

Is there a way to divide a surface with a straight lines that go all around the surface with an angle? i just need this lines in rhino

i can't "twist" the surface because is elliptical so not regular like a normal cylinder.

Many thanks

There is component that creates sections in any direction. But your surface is three-dimensional so sections won't be straight. So I created flat surface and applied this component to it. Then we need to map this lines to original surface. So I took uv coordinates of this lines on flat surface and used them to create lines on original surface.
