Expression error when using image sampler

Hi,

My question is, why does the expression (x*y)+0.1 keep giving an error when it clearly works for a tutorial video that I am watching about image sampling. It seems to give me an error as soon as I add a + to the expression.

Hi Tony, you probably have the ImageSampler filter set to color. Right click the ImageSampler, go to Filter, and I think you'll want to set it to value (Brightness).
