There are around 2000 meshes with 500 different shades of green. I simply cannot render any color in V-Ray.

1) Render with vray at your target resolution

2) Enter "-viewCaptureToClipBoard" in rhino

3) specify your capture size at 2 or 3 times the size of the rendering

4) Put the view capture over the rendering in Photoshop

5) Scale it down to the right size

6) change the photoshop layer to screen, overlay, or multiply

Vicente Soler's brilliant script here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/solution-to-baking-multiple - should still do the trick. What it basically does under the hood is create a new texture that contains all your colors as single pixels, and then assigns appropriate mesh texture vertices to all your geometry. Just bake the resulting mesh and create a v-ray material with the created texture in the diffuse channel and you're golden.
