Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys, I'm having some difficulties with my script. I'm working on a facade consisting out of triangular panels, which is represented by a mesh in Grasshopper.

There are about 300 panels (surfaces) in the mesh but there are only about 20 variations of them. What I want to be able to do is select all of the panels that are the same (or at least have the same area). So far I've messed around a bit with the area component and then trying to compare areas using the =equal component but I'm having a hard time achieving what I want.

So basically what I need is to split the list of the panels into sublists that each contain only one variation of the panel. Is there anyone that might be able to help me?

Thanks in advance!

I think I've already achieved what I wanted to achieve by making use of Sets, see the (pretty simple) definition attached if you're interested.
