Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I'm new to grasshopper. Can anyone explain me how to create a grid from topo curve. I  divide the curve by a distance and get points - But I would like to connect the points between them to form a grid.

thx

What means grid? what for? to create a nurbs? (if so, and since topo curves are more than possible to have different sizes et all ... I would strongly recommend to patch the points).

That said patch is tricky (and a bit faulty) and probably requires 2 passes.

thx for your reply. I'm looking for something like this for all curves: creating points by distance on all curves to make a grid deformation by all points connected

Still I can't get the "grid" part: to serve into what? (maybe you want to make a surface out of the topo curves and then calculate Z deviations ??). I do hope that you don't intend to make ...er... hmm...a mesh (totally wrong approach for AEC engineering purposes, he he).

Anyway see this as well: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/mesh-terrain-to-brep-part1

mmm sorry. it is difficult to be clear :/ thanks for your help anyway.

but i think I found what I'm looking for .
