algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all

I have been working on a tutorial for relaxing meshes by Daniel Piker and I was wondering how I could select the new relaxed mesh geometry and apply a gravitational force to it whilst maintaining the same anchor points? I have been trying to select the non anchor points from the new output geometry to apply the force to them but I need curves to input into the spring tool in Kangaroo. Any pointers? Here is a screen shot of the basic setup. Thanks

You shouldn't have to be selective with your points to apply a unary force with the way your model is set up...even if you apply "gravity" to your anchor points, they won't move, so you can apply the force to all points.  Just feed the vertices output from your decompose mesh component into the unary force component in kangaroo (you also can use the weaverbird mesh points component...it's a bit lighter, only pulls the vertices) and add in the vector you want to simulate, multiplied by the force factor you want, and add the unary output it to your force objects.

Thanks for the reply! I got it to work with the weaverbird vertices component. It was quite heavy geometry so my comp freaked out a bit (bit old). Managed to do what I wanted with my own geometry after the tutorial. Thanks again.

Can i know how you got it to work, i tried both methods but it doesn't work
