Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Guys,

Have an issue with splitting surface with curves in GH, same results also in RHINO.

With multiple CRVs on SRF, splitting SRF with them, results srfpatches, when i dupborder i get unjoined edges. [process from left to right in attached image]

Any idea how to get a clean edge? I just need the result to get me full edge.

Before using dupborder, clean surface edges with this cluster.

Beware that this cluster straightens every nurbs curve, in your case, should be good.

Hi Riccardo,

Thanks a lot for your cluster.

It really works for ONE surface. having many of them as an input it merges them into one surface.

Grafting the input didn't help. edges somehow flattened at your tree component. Can we get around that?

really appreciate your help.

mmmmm yep, it still needed some more fixes inside the cluster...

try now

:S

I've found out that "Boundary" component automatically simplify co-linear edges and merge them...

Just do as this:

Thanks a lot! thats really useful.

It works like charm :))

appreciate your help a lot.
