Intersect hexagonal shapes with planer surface

Guys I would really appreciate a reply,

I have been trying to identify the problem ,apparently GH failed to conduct and intersection between the planer surface "Rectangle" and the corner cells that why the trim component is failing along with other intersection components.

I have tried also to intersect these corner cells with center lines but it didn't work also and the definition was too long for such a simple problem.

I want to know why this happened and how I can fix it please?

I'm still a beginner in this , I hope I would have a chance to learn form this forum :)

Try this, 

Hopefully I have understood the problem, I tried to keep as much of the logic/workflow you used with the simplest workflow to solve the problem.
