I'll need a write a few import functions, doesn't look too difficult for most of those formats. However I don't want to add major features to GH1 any more, and changing the UI for the gradient would definitely be a major feature (after all you can't both have editable grips and an imported gradient).
In GH2, gradients will most likely be native data types that can be passed around like any other data, and in that context having a gradient import makes a lot more sense. I can definitely write the import functions now though, and maybe add a simple gradient component which has no custom UI.
