I rephrased my topic. I see it wasn't clear. I meant variable inputs with wires that can be plugged in.
Can you edit an image in Photoshop or Paint, and post it here, to explain what you are looking for?

Do you mean a slider that automatically adds (subtracts, multiplies or divides) the input stream by the slider value or does the input just set the limits of the slider?
The inputs set the MIN/MAX limits of the slider.
this is the idea based on this discussion using ReMap, with decimals control problems, but it works.

Well done, hope this will be combined in a single component.
I see now the discussion came up before. Thanks for the link. Not too sound ungrateful, I would prefer, as I am sure you would too, only needing one little slider component. Once you open up the possibility of plugging into the slider as Chris mentioned, perhaps you could have the option of toggling between domain, subtract, add etc.

Being able to derive the domain of a slider enables me to remap the slider values to a value that is independent of the slider domain.
But I agree that having a domain input to the slider would make this much more elegant.

Also for sliders, I think it would be great if these would be visually more customizable. Offering a range of visual styles and being able to change the color would be great. For example, I'd want a dark blue slider with white details, 75% opacity and fully rounded corners. I am a designer and often I sit with other people to alter a design by manipulating sliders. This could give grasshopper a good image towards the 'layman' and make them more enthusiastic about it, whereas now it mostly looks like Chinese to them.
